Covington is an historical river city but don’t let that fool you. The City is home to a thriving critical mass of life science and bioscience companies and employment, and the national outlook is robust. Employment in life science companies grew more than 82% in Northern Kentucky from 2014-2019, with most of the growth in Covington’s urban core per an analysis by Northern Kentucky Tri-Ed.
